How to play

Kerr Chess mostly follows traditional chess, including checkmate, castling, and en passant. The key differences:

Spiral board. Moves follow the curved grid and wrap around the center, never across it. The board extends inward forever.
7-square limit. Rooks, bishops, and queens can move at most 7 squares per turn.
No pawn promotion. Both sides’ pawns move and capture inward. There is no far edge to reach, so they never promote.

Controls

Tap a piece, then a highlighted square to move. Pinch to zoom. Drag sideways to rotate, or up/down to tilt in 3D.

Keyboard: hold + / − to zoom, Q / E to rotate; 0 resets the view. On the board, use arrow keys and Enter to select and move.
